What will I do with Jesus?

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” (James 1:22-25)

There is an important question we all need to ask ourselves: What will I do with Jesus? The question is personal and it is critical. We aren’t talking about a personality, or a denomination or an idea, we’re talking about the One who is the Son of God! The question is pertinent and even more importantly, it is pressing. It is before you right now. Everyone will answer it one way or another. Whether vocally or by actions, we will all answer this question.

Pilate had to answer it when Jesus was before him. And Jesus is before you today. The time will come however, when Pilate will be before Jesus at the judgement. Jesus is before you and I today, but one day we will be before Him. So… what will you do with Jesus?
