I came across this picture from a powerpoint I had done sometime ago. I love it for a number of reasons: The hands that are gently holding the Word speak of one who not only knows the tender mercies of the Lord, but one who is gentle themselves. The other thing that really stands out to me is the well-used look of the bible. It’s been said that a bible that is ‘worn out’ is usually a sign of a person who isn’t.
I hope you are enjoying your time in the word as you take up the challenge to read through it in the coming year. Are you hearing from The Lion of the Tribe of Judah? Are you staying close enough to touch His mane?
