Dear All…
In my quiet time this morning I was struck by what I read in 1 Corinthians 10:11:
‘“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition…”
O Lord, help me to learn those hard lessons from the experience of others. Thank You for those ‘examples’ You have given us. Thank You for the promise that ‘You will not allow us to go through an unknown temptation or deal with more than we are able to bear’ (1 Cor. 10:13)
My Pastor (Evan Craig) used to say, “Every temptation has two doors, we choose which one to take.” Learning from the examples in scripture, and applying those lessons to life, is up to us.
