What you are in the dark when no one else knows, is who you really are. What would you do if you knew that no one else would ever know? I read once that when Michael Angelo was painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, He came to a tiny little corner that was not able to be seen. He was asked, “Why are you spending so much time on it, no one will ever see it.” He answered… “I see it and God sees it.” Whether anyone else sees it or not, we need to be faithful in the secret things.
