“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, Colossians 1: 3-5
At our mid-week prayer meeting and bible study this week, we talked about the fact that the Lord has heard the cries of our heart, and answered so many of our petitions.
One day we will see the difference that prayer has made in our lives, in our world and in all the world… and we surely will be amazed and marvel at the power and grace of it. We will discover in awe that prayer was perhaps the greatest factor in HIS-STORY to bring God’s will to be on earth as it is in Heaven. Surely we will wonder why we did not give ourselves more to this amazing privilege of prayer than we did.
Someone has wisely said that we are to work as though it all depends on us, and pray because it all depends on Him.
