This morning I came across a card that had been printed more than 20 years ago and given out by a former church I had the privilege to serve. The Card has a title ‘Prayer for Bill and Krys McLean’, and is followed by Ephesians 6:19 & 20… “Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly as I should.”
I remember the first time I saw that card being humbled literally to the point of tears. I still have the same emotion as I think about the privilege, we have to share so great a salvation. I would covet your prayers for that, as we continue to carry the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Please continue to pray for our first responders, teachers, and our leaders. Pray for the election outcome to bring unity among us. Pray for the sick and infirmed. Please let us know how we can pray for you.
