Greetings all…
It’s a bittersweet moment as I write this final ‘City Bible Church @ Home’ email. After more than 2 ½ years, we are stepping back from the Wednesday night bible study, to give ourselves to a Sunday morning as well as a Sunday evening service. Our Wednesday prayer meeting and bible study will continue at the church with Matt and Sandra but will not be online.
Beginning Sunday morning at 9 AM, September 11, we will put our Sunday morning message on YouTube. At this point it will be pre-recorded and not live as we work towards the best options for recording a live service. For now, it will be ‘From the Pastor’s Study’. We will be sending out an email on Fridays that I am calling ‘PT’s Friday File’.
City Bible Church @ Home: Who Is This Jesus (Phil. 2: 5-11)
Between Ecclesiastes and Nehemiah, we have spent the better part of a year in the Old Testament. This Wednesday at 7 PM, we will be looking at several things about the Lord Jesus that come out of Phil. 2, then continue Sunday mornings in a systematic study through John’s gospel. PTL!!! After 1 year, 1 month and 1 week, our friend Pierre was released from hospital, having recovered enough from his horrific motorcycle accident to continue rehabbing from home. Thank you for interceding on his behalf. Please continue to pray for his total recovery and his family to be strengthened.
