Joy to the world The Lord has come… Let earth receive her king!
Krys and I want to send our warmest Christmas greetings to you and your family at this very special time of the year. What a precious time of year to deeply focus on the incarnation of our Lord Jesus, and to meditate in God’s Word on what His coming has meant. “Joy to the world, the LORD has come!”
Happy are those whose eyes and hearts have been opened to see Who He really is, and what He came to do! Love on conquest to rescue the perishing! He was crucified and then “laid behind a stone”; raised from the dead and “then ascended to the Throne”; crowned Lord of all and now soon “coming for His own!” This same Jesus Who was crucified for our sins was raised from the dead by the Father, and today He sits on the throne of all eternity as the Risen and Reigning Lamb of God.
This week @ City Bible Church…
Nehemiah: Nation Building
This week’s study finds us beginning chapter 7. There is some historical background necessary to go through, to really have a handle on what is going on in the Nation of Israel at this time we come to in Nehemiah. There is great relevance for us in the times we live in as well. You can find us here at the church, or live on line beginning at 7 PM.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service:
A special one hour service at the church on Christmas Eve is planned. No social gathering afterward is allowed, and we will be practicing social distancing.
Sunday @ City:
Sunday morning at 10:30 will be as usual, with an opportunity to gather in His name, around His Word, and with His people.
*** Sunday evening bible study is canceled this week.
We want everyone to know that we are a ‘praying church’, and welcome the privilege of bringing you and those you love before the ‘Throne of Grace’. Please let us know any prayer needs you have.
In His grip,
