Abraham Lincoln gave the ‘Emancipation Proclamation’ that set the slaves free. But did you know that many slaves continued on the plantation? They continued to serve their masters. Why? Two reasons: One, some of them didn’t get the news. Secondly, some didn’t believe it because it seemed too good to be true.
Isn’t that the way it is with the ‘Good News of Jesus Christ’? Some just don’t get it, and they won’t be convinced. Some think it’s too good to be true. But to the ones who the Holy Spirit is drawing to Himself, it is a ‘Savor of life unto life’.

Last time we looked at 3 of the worship services we find in Scripture. Exodus 40, 1st. Chron. 6 and 2nd. Chron. 6. This week we will see how we apply what we learned last time to our lives. There are 8 principles for worship that we find in 1st. Chronicles 16, you can prepare ahead of time by reading the chapter.
